Ha Ha Ha ... Via "WASHINGTON — A high-tech spy plane purchased by the US Drug Enforcement Agency to aid its fight against Afghanistan’s drug trade proved to be an overpriced boondoggle that so far has never been flown, a government report said on Wednesday.
The aircraft, a French-built ATR 42-500, was purchased by the agency in September 2008 for $22 million, and was supposed to have been ready for use by December 2012, the Inspector General’s Office of the US Justice Department said ...
The aircraft was destined for use by DEA’s “Global Discovery” program, an anti-drug effort conducted jointly with the Pentagon."
