Twenty Questions About Pornography. This Is A Test.
"There was this show on HBO (I think), a documentary about The Bunny Ranch, a legal whore house in Nevada. These girls would tell these stories about how much money they would make (seemingly a lot-hundreds of thousands in a few months.) The ones who made the most money were, as you pointed out, porn actresses who would moonlight at the Bunny Ranch to make extra cash. You could tell a lot of them were on something (drugs, pills). And the man who owns the whole thing (Dennis somebody) is the most lecherous horrid person. There he is, the Hefner of his little kingdom surrounded by naked willing women ready to please him for free or his smarmy friends. It's amazing to me that any of this can be called liberating. It was like watching women in captivity. Yes they were free to go...but where? Like you said...where? Most have very little education, no families...no place to go."
